Image Courtesy RCA RecordsIts been six months since Monica released her single, “Just Right for Me” featuring Lil Wayne and now, she’s finally debuted of the accompanying music video for the smooth tune.
In the black-and-white clip, Monica entertains Wayne’s love for skateboarding and both hang out at a skate park where Weezy shows off his skills and even teaches the singer a few tricks.
“I am very proud of the ‘Just Right for Me’ video because it showcases my love for R&B music and Tunechi’s love for skateboarding in a fun, raw and authentic way,” Monica told Complex. “I hope the fans enjoy the visual as we gear up for the CODE RED tour and album.”
“Just Right for Me” is lifted from Monica’s upcoming album, Code Red, due out December 18. The follow-up to 2012’s New Life also includes contributions from Timbaland, Missy Elliott and Dallas Austin.
Last month, Monica revealed the dates for her Code Red Experience tour with Rico Love, starting November 12 in Las Vegas, and wrapping up in New York City on December 13. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
