To get fans excited about her long-awaited album, Code Red, Monica has released a heartfelt ballad called “I Know.”
The song finds Monica professing her unconditional love to her significant other. “When I told you I love you, I mean it / For the first time, I’m not afraid of needing you so / No matter what, I’m not leaving you, no,” she sings on the track, posted on YouTube.
You can expect Code Red to be available on December 18. Her eighth album, executive produced by Polow Da Don, includes contributions from Missy Elliott, Timbaland and Akon. Her two-year old daughter, Laiyah, also makes an appearance.
Monica currently is on her Code Red Experience tour, which concludes December 13 in New York.
