Naturi Naughton-Lewis will soon be a mother of two. The actress, who has a 4-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, is now expecting her first baby with husband Xavier “Two” Lewis.
As People reports, Naturi discovered she was pregnant while she was shooting a movie. “Still on a high” from her wedding, she said she “wrapped my two ClearBlue pregnancy tests in pretty tissue paper and put it in a cute little gift bag,” telling Xavier it was a belated birthday present. “It was a such a special moment,” the actress recalled.
She is now “looking forward to seeing this baby’s cute little face and how it will be the perfect blend between my husband and me.”
“My daughter is especially happy to be getting a younger sibling,” Naturi continues, “so I’m excited to share this joy as a family.”
Naturi and Two tied the knot last spring at the St. Regis Buckhead in Atlanta. With a baby on the way, they’ve been reading, hiring a doula and checking out baby apps.
“We look forward to bonding in a new way and actually applying our wedding vows on this journey to parenthood!” Naturi says. “This is Two’s first baby, so he’s extra excited to create another human. Even through the many challenges that can occur with pregnancy, we want to push ourselves to be the best partners and the best parents we can be!”
