Monty Brinton/CBSLast month, Ne-Yo announced he’s not only engaged to model Crystal Renay, the couple is expecting a baby. Now, his fiancée has revealed the sex of the child: a boy.
Renay posted an Instagram video of herself during a doctor’s visit, in which she spills the news. “I’ve been throwing up my life this morning, but I get to see my prince today and I’m so happy, so it’s a good day,” she said while lying down. The video’s captioned “#PrinceSJ #MyPrideAndJoy ?? #TheSacraficesWeMakeRightOutTheGate #WORTHIT.”
The model seemingly hinted at the sex of their child last week by posting a picture that read: “My son will never need for anything! Momma got him!”
The baby will mark the couple’s first child together. Ne-Yo has two children by his former fiancée, Monyetta Shaw: 4-year-old daughter Madilyn and 3-year-old son Mason.
