Monty Brinton/CBSNe-Yo hasn’t said much about his upcoming wedding after confirming that he proposed to his fiancee Crystal Renay last month, but the model has spilled new details about planning their big day.
In an interview with EntertainmentScoop.com, Renay revealed that the wedding process is going smoothly. “It’s great, it’s a lot of fun, it’s a lot of work, but I’m happy,” says the model.
She also revealed that Ne-Yo isn’t a groomzilla. “No, we’re very easy going, I’m particular but I’m not bad. I like options, give me options A, B and C, and I’ll say OK,” she says.
So how did their relationship begin? “We met actually in L.A., he chose me for a project for his album — an acting project that’s he’s actually still working on,” she says. “It was a business meeting that kind of just turned into an interrogation and then kind of a date and the rest is history.”
The singer, who is carrying the couple’s first child, also reveals that Ne-Yo has a written a new song about her, which she says will “be released very soon.”
