Noam Galai/FilmMagic – ABC/Lou RoccoIt’s not Thanksgiving, but New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is still giving thanks.

The 62-year-old politician took to Twitter on Thursday to share his gratitude for the numerous organizations and individuals who have assisted the state of New York in dealing with the COVID-19 outbreak. One of those organizations is Rihanna‘s Clara Lionel Foundation.

“I want to thank @rihanna and the Rihanna Foundation for donating Personal Protective Equipment to New York State,” Cuomo tweeted. “We’re so appreciative of your help and that of so many others who have stepped up.”

The 32-year-old singer’s foundation donated $5 million in an effort to help fight the coronavirus pandemic and “prepare communities w/ critical protective gear, medical supplies, equipment and access to food across multiple regions.”

Rihanna’s acknowledgment was the last tweet in a five-part series of thank you’s. Among the many others who Cuomo recognized were Facebook, Walmart, Wayfair, and Keurig.
