Sony Pictures Television Queen Latifah will take on hosting duties during the annual Nobel Peace Prize concert, taking place next month.
According to Billboard, the multifaceted entertainer expressed her excitement for the upcoming event, which will be held December 11 in Oslo, Norway.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s concert and to help celebrate such amazing individuals who have each worked so hard on behalf of children’s rights to education,” says Queen Latifah. The concert will honor 2014 Peace Prize winners Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai who have advocated for children’s right to eduction, particularly in their native South Asia.
Although performers have yet to be announced, the 21st annual musical celebration will broadcast in up to 100 countries.
