Rihanna Will Guest Star on Tyler Perry’s Show, Love Thy Neighbor

Last year, there were unconfirmed rumors that Rihanna turned down a role in Tyler Perry‘s film since Whitney Houston advised her that his projects are for “fading stars.” Well, if it was true, it seems Ri Ri has had a change of heart as she’s working on Perry’s hit TV series.

According to Rihanna’s IMDB page, she’ll be starring in an episode of Perry‘s hit OWN series, Love Thy Neighbor, which is now in it’s third season. The singer’s role will see her giving woman advice to a character named Danny when her episode airs on November 21.

The news comes after Rihanna joined the cast of the new sci-fi film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The director, Luc Besson  confirmed via Instagram that she has a “big part.”
