ABC/Fred LeeRobin Thicke is returning to the spotlight to honor his mother.
The “Blurred Lines” singer, who has been laying low since the death of his father, actor Alan Thicke, will show some major love to his momma, singer and actress Gloria Loring, in the upcoming VH1 special Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms.
Thicke is the first performer announced for the show, which will be hosted by black-ish star Anthony Anderson and reality star La La Anthony for the second annual Mother’s Day event.
The event, set to take place at Pasadena’s Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens in California, is executive produced by Queen Latifah‘s Flavor Unit and Jesse Collins Entertainment.
Dear Mama: An Event to Honor Moms premieres on Monday, May 8th at 10 p.m. ET.
