RUTH’S CHRIS TO REPAY LOAN DURING CORONAVIRUS

The Treasury Department has asked all big companies to repay loans they’ve received from the federal program, meant for those with a small businesses. The owner of Ruth’s Chris Steak House said they would refund $20 million, which they were among 150 public companies that received nearly $600 million in forgivable loans. The federal program was created for those struggling to keep their small businesses during this pandemic. Now other public companies that received the loans must repay the funds no later than May 7th.
