Credit: VydiaSerayah is putting the frauds on notice, in her latest video for “Love It.”
The song is influenced by the sounds of Gunna and Lil Baby, and the accompanying visual finds theEmpire starlet rallying her girl gang to address those who “flex for free,” simply for admiration on social media.
“I appreciate the new social media epidemic, but with that comes a lot of flexing and fake attitudes,” Serayah said of the effort. “I walked in the studio and I told Jabari: Let’s make a song about ‘New Hollywood.'”
She adds: “Let’s shine a light on how unimportant it is to acquire all the materialistic things and create a real purpose for what we do, after all the world is watching.”
The single arrives on the heels of the singer and actress celebrating her 24th birthday on Thursday.
