(L-R): Common, Andra Day; ABC/Image Group LACommon and Andra Day are teaming up with the Girl Scouts of the USA for an appearance at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade event in New York City.
Both stars will perform their hit track “Stand Up for Something,” which is featured on the Marshall soundtrack, on the organization’s “Building a Better World” float.
“I am so excited to help Girl Scouts in it mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place,” says Andra in a statement.
“I encourage all girls to take action in their communities and effect change — to take a stand.”
