Courtesy of Columbia Records Lecrae is following up the release of his powerful last single, “I’ll Find You,” with a new track called “Hammer Time.”
And the Grammy-winning artist does in fact mention iconic hip hop artist MC Hammer, whose unforgettable phrase “Stop! Hammer Time!” from the 1990 track “U Can’t Touch This,” inspired the title of the single.
“Hammer Time” features vocals by 1k Phew and was produced by Metro Boomin.
It’ll be featured on Lecrae’s debut album, scheduled for release later this year.
