Image Group LA/ABCThe Weeknd is among the nominees for the 2016 Brit Awards, the U.K. equivalent of the Grammys.
Organizers have announced that the singer, who just scored an Oscar nod for “Earned It,” is up for the International Male trophy, for which he will compete against Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Justin Bieber. Bieber’s among the performers on the show, alongside Adele and Coldplay.
Elsewhere, Naughty Boy‘s “Runnin’ (Lose It All),” featuring Beyonce and Arrow Benjamin, is nominated for British Artist Video of the Year. The category also includes R&B sensation Sam Smith‘s “Writing’s On The Wall.”
