The Broadway premiere of the musical about Tina Turner‘s life happened Friday (Nov 8) New York City’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
The surprise guest at the star-studded event, was the 8-year old entertainment icon herself, as she walked into the theater arm-in-arm with her hubby, Erwin Bach annnnd Oprah Winfrey.
Fans could be heard chanting, “Tina! Tina! Tina!” during the momentous occasion.

During the curtain call, Tuner joined the cast on stage to thank everyone.
She also turned to actress Adrienne Warren, who portrays Turner in the productions and gave her a hug saying, “thank God for this woman.”
