The slinky song, posted on her official YouTube page, finds Tinashe flirting with her collaborator Chris Brown. “You better stay up, player,” she warns as Breezy responds:. “I’m the man in my city, like a mayor.”
“PLAYER, the first official radio single from my upcoming album #Joyride drops 10/2!!,’ Tinashe writes on her Instagram. “Who’s excited?!?!! (Me).”
“Joyride,” produced by LULOU and Alex Purple, will appear on Tinashe’s upcoming album, due out later this year. The set includes contributions from Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Hit-Boy, Travi$ Scott, Nic Nac, and Dev Hynes.
