Tune in: OWN launches new talk show ‘Black Women OWN the Conversation’ this weekend

ABC/Randy HolmesOn Saturday, the Oprah Winfrey Network will debut a new talk show, OWN Spotlight: Black Women Own The Conversation, hosted and produced by Emmy-Award winning journalist Carlos Watson.

The new series, which will focus on the concerns and issues facing black women will feature an array of panelists, celebrities and thought leaders including Stacey Abrams, model and activist Winnie Harlow, actress April Parker-Jones, singer Monica among others.

Described as a love letter to black women, the four-week series will be taped before a live studio audience of 100 black women that represent “a cross-section of age, class, and sexual orientations.” Together the guests and audience will discuss key issues including love and relationships, motherhood, beauty, faith and politics. 

Black Women OWN the Conversation airs Saturday night at 10 p.m. ET on OWN.
