Tyra Banks returns to Harvard to prepare for launch of Modelland

by

ABC/Ron TomTyra Banks has returned to Harvard Business School to prepare for the launch of her Modelland attraction, which is set to open later this year.

“I came to the business school many years ago with the #ModelLand dream in mind and now launch is so close,” she captioned an Instagram photo of herself sitting in her dorm room.

“I have returned to school,” she continued, “to refresh the knowledge I gained and to make sure I am more than equipped to bring you an attraction like you’ve never experienced before.”

The creator of America’s Top Model previously completed Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program in 2012

Banks writes that Modelland will be “a place that allows you to be the fantasy version of yourself. The genius professors here at #HBS are sharing their world class knowledge so that I can then take that and give YOU what you deserve.”

Modeland will be a fashion theme park in Santa Monica, California inspired by Disneyland. Banks named it after the young adult novel she published in 2010.

As previously reported, Banks is now writing a graphic novel based on that book.
