Photo by Kevork Djansezian/Getty ImagesEarlier this month, Tyrese released the official trailer for a three-part visual called The Black Book, a short film comprised of three music videos in one. Now he’s giving fans the full-length version.

In the 25-minute film, which marks Tyrese’s directorial debut, the singer stars opposite Empire star and singer V. Bozeman. Seeming to take a page out of The Notebook, the flick follows the couple’s rocky relationship as told by an older Tyrese, who is recalling their story to his wife suffering from Alzheimer’s on their 45th wedding anniversary.

“Sometimes the RIGHT WOMEN will FORCE you to grow UP and mature,” Tyrese says of the film, while explaining the concept on Instagram. “This is our personal invite to share in our love our story.”

The Black Book, which was shot in just three days, can be viewed on Vimeo.
