Victoria Monét delays her ‘Jaguar’ EP in honor of Beyoncé’s ‘Black Is King’ visual album

The “Monopoly” singer announced the release of her upcoming EP, Jaguar, last week, in addition to dropping a disco-style visual for her latest single, “Experience,” with Khalid

On Tuesday, Victoria took to social media to share a visual representation of herself as a Black Jaguar pacing back and forth in front of a lioness, which would be Beyoncé.

“Wait, what was that? You said, you the Lion King, and Queen Bey are dropping a visual album on July 31, huh?” Victoria says in the video, shared on Twitter and Instagram. “Well, I, the Jaguar will be moving on over to August 7, where it’s safe. See you there, folks!”

In the captions, Victoria continued writing, “When the Queen is coming, you move!! It’s just what you do, lol.”

The frequent Ariana Grande collaborator released her debut solo single, “Moment,” at the top of this year. She also has dreams of writing a record for Beyoncé one day again after a first attempt in 2018.
