Watch and Listen to Juice WRLD’s first posthumous single Righteous

by

Grace A/Interscope Although Juice WRLD left us last December, his music still lives on. Today, the late rapper’s family continues his legacy by delivering his first posthumous single, “Righteous” supported by an emotional video.

The track was accompanied by a sweet message from his mother Carmela Wallace about her son.

“Juice [WRLD] was a prolific artist who dedicated his life to making music. Choosing how to share his upcoming music with the world has been no easy feat,” Wallace wrote in the message.

“Honoring the love Juice felt for his fans while shining a light on his talents and his spirit are the most important parts of this process to us.”

The video features footage of Juice and J. Cole in the studio together, sparking rumors of a collaboration between the two rappers.

Recorded in his home studio in Los Angeles, “Righteous” means so much to his girlfriend Ally Lotti. “I”ll never forget that night. We played this over and over the next couple weeks,” she tweeted. “It’s very emotional song for me to listen to but I know how much we both loved it and I know how much [Juice] would be proud of this.”

Wallace established the Live Free 999 Fund earlier this week, to honor her late son in supporting young people struggling with addiction, anxiety, and depression, with additional support from Grade A and Interscope Records.

The fund also hopes to help young people to “find positive avenues to process their mental health challenges just like the beloved rapper [Juice WRLD] did with his music.”
