WH Advisor Compares #Endlockdown Protestors to Rosa Parks

White House advisor and conservative economist Stephen Moore made an eyebrow-raising comparison  between crowds protesting ‘stay-at-home restrictions to a late civil rights icon.

In a statement to the Washington Post, conservative economist Stephen Moore reportedly invoked the name, the mother of the Civil Rights Movement, Rosa Parks, according to the Washington Post.

Moore reportedly said, “I think there’s a boiling point that has been reached and exceeded. I call these people the modern-day Rosa Parks — they are protesting against injustice and a loss of liberties.” 

Moore is part of the White House council focused on “re-opening” the economy.

Several states has seen groups of protestor calling on an end to the lockdown.

Local and state leaders say there will no be a significant easing of restrictions until adequate testing is available, as well as anti-body testing to determine the number of people who are immune the virus.
