Woman threatened to spread COVID-19 arrested

A young woman,18-year-old Lorraine Maradiaga, supposedly tested positive for COVID 19 and has threatened to go out in public to spread the virus. Through a series of Snapchat videos, Maradiaga, is seen at a Walmart making threats that she will spread this virus to anyone she can come in contact with. “I’m here at Walmart, ’bout to infest every [expletive], because if I’m going down, all y’all [expletives] going down,” she says in the video. She was located in the Carrollton/Farmers Branch area. Maradiaga was arrested and stated to the Carrollton Police that she is COVID-19 negative although there is no proof. Her bond is set for $20,000 and a condition to quarantine for 21 days upon the date of her release from custody.
