“Empire” co-creator Lee Daniels has found a winning combination of talent, story lines, jaw-dropping intrigue and dope tracks to kick off Season 2 of the Fox Television drama. He also has some major stars making cameos in some of the most unusual roles. Week one, gave us Chris Rock. Alicia Keys and Ludacris will be making an appearances this season as well.
Patti Labelle fans will be happy to know the Diva is back. Patti has agreed to return but Lee Daniels wanted her to do something daring for her return in season 2. Patti explained in a recent interview that Lee Daniels asked her to take off her wig!!!!!
Patti’s response? “Hell No” ….”I ain’t goin’ out like that.” I agree Ms. Patti a lady has to have a few secrets.
We all know that the legendary singer will kick those shoes off in a heartbeat but the wig is staying put.
