Texas reported over 1800 new cases of COVID-19 infection since the stay-at-home guidelines have been relaxed to open the economy. The Houston Chronicle reported on Saturday the spike is due to 700 new cases at a Tyson meat-packing plant in Amarillo. Gov. Greg Abbott admits he expects cases to increase as plans have been announced to test meat-packing plants, jails and nursing homes residence. On Monday gyms will be open at 25 percent of capacity.
