Fired Balch Springs police officer Ron Oliver is facing murder charges for shooting and killing Jordan Edwards as he left a party. Bond is set at $300,000. Originally, it was reported that Oliver fired on the car because it was backing up aggressively toward the officers. But after looking at body-cam footage, the opposite happened. The car was driving away when Oliver shot into the car, killing Jordan Edwards. More here.
