Louisiana is number two for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis rates. This according to the 2016 Sexually Transmitted Diseases Surveillance Report. Louisiana was also the state with the second-highest rate of HIV diagnoses. STDs increased across the United States for the third year in a row.
