NBC is unveiling pictures of the cast of the ‘The Wiz Live!’ in full costume. This new version of the popular Broadway production turned movie will star newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy, Elijah Kelley as the Scarecrow, Ne-Yo as the Tin Man, and David Allen Grier as the Cowardly Lion.
The star-studded cast also includes Queen Latifah as the Wiz, Mary J. Blige as Evillene, the Wicked Witch, Common as the Bouncer, and Stephanie Mills who played Dorothy in the original Broadway version as Auntie Em!
