After having tremendous success with her sweet potato pie last year, Patti LaBelle is doing it again! The R&B Diva has a new line of desserts that will be available exclusively in Wal-Mart stores.
Apple, peach, and berry cobbler, apple pecan cake, and sweet potato loaf are LaBelle’s newest dessert items that she says were developed from her own experiments in the kitchen.
“I’ve been cooking for most of my life,” she said. “As you’re standing in the kitchen and you think of certain ingredients, you just put them in — sometimes they work, and sometimes they don’t.”
LaBelle’s new line of desserts will be available beginning this week.
