Toya Graham the Baltimore mother who went ‘viral’ when she yanked her son off of the front lines of the Baltimore riot has spoken, and she did it like a true mother!
“I’m a no-tolerant mother. Everybody who knows me, knows I don’t play that,” Graham told CBS News. “He knew. He knew he was in trouble.”
While there were many TV cameras rolling when Graham confronted her son, she said that being on TV was not on her mind.
That’s my only son and at the end of the day I don’t want him to be a Freddie Gray,” she said. “I was angry. I was shocked, because you never want to see your child out there doing that.”
Graham says that she hopes the her son can learn from the experience.
