Raheem DeVaughn‘s latest effort proved itself to be “Just Right” to tack on another impressive feat to his storied career.
After spending 18 weeks on Billboard‘s Adult R&B Songs chart, the ballad jumped four places from 12 to number eight. The move secures DeVaughn’s fifth top 10 single.
The track’s chart ascension follows “Don’t Come Easy” that peaked at number three in 2018. That also accounted for the songwriter’s first top-five charting single in a decade.
Lifted from DeVaughn’s The Love Reunion album, the romantic ode was brought to life in an accompanying visual this summer, which the singer described as a “celebration” of “women globally.”
