According to Deadline, Brunson and 2 Broke Girls producer Michelle Nader have teamed up create a workplace comedy, which has landed a pilot at HBO Max.
Brunson, who co-wrote the potential series with Nader, will star as an “ambitious millennial flying up the ladder at a media startup company.” While there, she is “unexpectedly tasked with running the newly hired, PR crisis-averting diversity team made up of green Internet newbies.”
Nader will serve as the showrunner for the yet-titled project.
HBO’s A Black Lady Sketch Show, which has been renewed for a second season. Brunson’s other credits include an appearance on ABC’s Single Parents and The CW’s iZombie.
