This week saw the release of Robin Thicke‘s Paula and Trey Songz‘s latest album, Trigga, and industry experts expect one of the two to enjoy solid first-week sales.
According to Hits Daily Double, Trey’s disc is estimated to amass sales of approximately 85,000 to 90,000 copies. Industry forecasters suggest those figures will likely result in a top spot on Billboard 200.
His last album 2012’s Chapter V entered at number one, selling 135,000 copies in its first week.
Elsewhere Thicke’s ode to his estranged wife, Paula Patton, is projected to sell 20,000 to 25,000 units — a stark contrast to his previous effort 2013’s Blurred Lines, which debuted at number one with first-week sales of 177,000 copies.
The final sales figures will be available on Wednesday.
