Last month, Chris Brown postponed the opening dates of his Between the Sheets tour in order to complete his court-ordered community service. Now, the singer has cancelled another show, and published reports suggest poor ticket sales may be the reason.
According to the Star Tribune, Breezy called off his headlining show at Minneapolis’ Target Center arena due to unspecified “scheduling conflicts.”
However, sources tell Billboard that the show — which was actually a rescheduled date, was likely canceled due to poor ticket sales. The venue holds approximately 20,000 seats, but his show only moved about 3,500 tickets, the magazine reported. In addition, insiders suggest that other dates on the tour have also failed to sell out.
It still remains unclear when Brown will officially kick off his tour with Trey Songz and Tyga.
