Photo courtesy of Legacy Recordings/Sony Music EntertainmentIt’s been two decades since the release of Maxwell‘s debut studio album, Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite, and to celebrate its 20th anniversary a 12-inch vinyl edition is coming October 28.
The limited-edition vinyl set will comprise of two metallic gold records; an 8-page booklet featuring rare images from the original album and photo shoots; and essays about the award-winning artist from music and culture critic Nelson George and music industry veteran Mitchell Cohen — who signed Maxwell to Columbia Records at the beginning of his career.
The vinyl collection set is now available to pre-order.
