PR Newswire/Erik UmpheryDue to popular demand, Anita Baker has tacked a handful of additional dates on to her farewell tour.
Thursday, it was announced that the Grammy-winning singer would be performing two international dates at the Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals on July 10 and July 12, respectively.
Those two shows follow Baker’s five-day engagement at the Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, which starts in May. The “Sweet Love” vocalist is scheduled to grace the stage May 31, June 1, 5, 7 and 8. It’s not clear if more dates will be added to the trek.
Back in 2018, Baker announced her farewell concert series and has since performed at over 50 sold-out shows. The lauded series has featured star-studded appearances and A-list attendees such as Stevie Wonder, Regina Belle, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Ledisi, India.Arie, BeBe Winans, Emily King, Gabrielle Union and many more.
