Even if you don’t speak Portuguese, you can still enjoy the new promo video Beyonce created to amp up her fans before she heads to Brazil next month.
The bikini-clad singer frolics in the ocean, writes “BRAZIL” in the sand and lounges in a hammock in the retro-styled, black-and-white clip soundtracked by the Brazilian samba classic “Girl from Ipanema.” Mixed in also is footage of the Brazilian cityscapes and people.
King B is scheduled to begin the Latin American leg of her Mrs. Carter Tour beginning September 8, which will include stops in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Mexico and Columbia.
In October, Bey will head Down Under for the tour’s Australia and New Zealand leg before returning to North America on November 30 for a show in Vancouver.
Before she resumes to her busy road life, the 31-year-old singer is currently enjoying downtime with her husband, Jay-Z, and their daughter, Blue Ivy. The singer recently posted a few shots on her official Tumblr page with one image showing the couple walking with champagne in their hands while another picture reveals Beyonce hanging out poolside with her toddler. It seems the family must have been enjoying an end-of-summer beach trip, based on pictures of Beyonce writing Blue’s name in the sand and an image of an child’s wet footprint next to an adult’s.
