ABC/Mitch HaasethBoyz II Men is joining with Oscar-winner Charlize Theron to support her Africa Outreach Project.
The trio from Philly will perform at a fundraising event for the charity on November 12 at The Africa Center in New York City.
Theron, who was born in South Africa, launched her Africa Outreach Project in 2007 to fight HIV and AIDS in her home country. The charity is devoted to uplifting the youth of Africa, and invests in “organizations that prioritize and advance the health, education, and community support of these youth, supporting their ability to keep themselves safe from HIV.”
Meanwhile, Boyz II Men’s Vegas residency at The Mirage Hotel & Casino, which began in 2013, will resume with six shows starting November 15. In 2020, the four-time Grammy winners will also perform dates in January, March, May and June at The Mirage.
