The uptempo track finds the singer relishing her newfound head space and having gratitude for life’s simple pleasures.
“Old me don’t notice me/Don’t wear the same clothing/Just where I’m supposed to be,” Cassie croons.
“Simple Things” is the final track from the expectant mother’s #FreeFriday music series, which she launched back in June. Week after week, Cassie gifted fans with music, including the previously stand alone singles “Excuse Me” and “Rollercoaster” featuring Ro James.
