Epic RecordsAs promised, Ciara has enlisted T.I. for an official remix of “I Bet,” the lead single from her upcoming album, Jackie.
Ci Ci keeps her original lyrics intact, while the rapper offers up a new perspective on a soured relationship. “If you leave me for whoever, they will never love you better,” Tip warns on the uptempo track, posted on YouTube.
The newly revamped song is just one of five bonus tracks on the deluxe version of her highly anticipated set, which includes appearances from Missy Elliott and Pitbull on a song called “That’s How I’m Feelin.'” Ciara previously worked wish Missy on a number of songs, including Ciara’s 2004 hit “1, 2 Step.”
Ciara’s sixth album, which she named after her mother, also includes contributions from Dr. Luke, Polow Da Don, Harmony Samuels, The Underdogs, Rock City, Ester Dean, and Diane Warren, as well as another remix that’ll feature Joe Jonas, with whom she stars with on NBC’s new variety competition show, I Can Do That!
Jackie is scheduled to arrive May 4, just a day before Ciara begins her first solo outing in more than six years.
