Mondeenise MusicMonica has ascended to new heights on Billboard‘s Adult R&B Songs chart with her latest effort, “Commitment.”
Fourteen weeks after making its debut, the endearing ballad this week reached the number 10. That’s Monica’s sixth top-10 single, and her first since 2010’s “Love All Over Me,” which held the #1 spot for four weeks.
“Commitment” is the lead single off of Monica’s highly anticipated album, Chapter 38, due to arrive later this year. The album marks her first independent release under her new imprint, Mondeenise Music, and will also include her latest single, “Me + You.”
In July, Monica will join Brandy, Ashanti, Amerie, Keri Hilson and Lil’ Mo for Live Nation’s Femme It Forward concert series.
