Janet Jackson Opens Unbreakable Tour with Missy Elliott Collabo

Black Doll Inc.Janet Jackson kicked off her Unbreakable tour Monday night in Vancouver, Canada with a brand new song featuring Missy Elliott.

According to E! News, the female rapper appeared on a video screen rhyming to a track believed to be named “Burn It Up.” It was one of three unreleased songs in the set. Elliott later tweeted, “Can’t front that new @JanetJackson is a clubbangger @flytetymejam & terry merked dat beat.” Producer Jimmy Jam also commented on Twitter, “Hmmm… I think they enjoyed the @JanetJackson Vancouver opening night:-)#UnbreakbleVancouverr.”

Jackson performed all her classics including “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Rhythm Nation,’ “What Have You Done for Me Lately” and “Miss You Much.” She also included her single “No Sleeep” featuring J. Cole on video, and closed with the title tune of her upcoming album, Unbreakable.

The Vancouver crowd greeted Jackson with a thundering ovation which drove her to tears. The tour is her first since her Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour in 2011.

Jackson’s next date is Wednesday in Calgary, Canada, and the tour runs through March 9, 2016 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
