Jay-Z and Roc Nation are among a group of investors hoping to build a casino in the Times Square area of New York City.

As New York Post reports, the rapper and his entertainment agency have teamed up with SL Green and Caesars Entertainment for the plan, announced Monday at SL Green’s annual investor conference. Their goal is to open the city’s first full-scale casino at SL Green’s 1515 Broadway office tower, with Jay and his team expected to oversee entertainment programming at several SL Green properties.

According to the investors, the casino, which will consist of eight floors in the 54-story tower, is expected to bring an average of 7 million visitors to Times Square annually, as well as 7 million restaurant meals outside the casino, $166 million in retail spending and an increase in Broadway ticket sales.

“New York is a beacon, the epicenter of culture. We have the opportunity to create a destination at the heart of Times Square, the crossroads of the world,” said Hov in a statement. “My partnership with SL Green and Caesars, this coalition, has all the promise and commitment to economic opportunity, growth and enrichment for the community, and everyone who visits the Empire State.”
