ABC/Randy HolmesUnfortunately, Khalid‘s Thanksgiving plans don’t include spending time with family. But as he tells ABC Radio, they do involve some much-needed quality downtime.
He says, “I’m probably gonna to sit on my couch and stuff my face and watch a lot of TV.”
While his family sails away on a “nice cruise” for the holiday, the “Location” singer adds that he plans on indulging in one of his favorite foods.
“Ooooo, ham is my favorite. I love it. Baked. Gotta be,” he says.
The rising star, who recently appeared on stage with rock band Imagine Dragons at this year’s American Music Awards, is nominated for an NAACP Image Award in the category of Outstanding New Artist.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Anthony Anderson, airs live Monday, January 15 at 9 p.m. ET on TV One.
