ABC/Randy HolmesSZA‘s Grammy nominated song “The Weekend” has received a “Funk Wav” remix treatment from celebrated producer-DJ Calvin Harris.
The remixed track certainly features a funky-sounding beat coupled with SZA’s smooth vocals, as she counts down the days of the week before getting intimate with someone else’s man on the weekend.
Fans can purchase “The Weekend” (Funk Wav Remix) via the usual digital platforms.
The original version of “The Weekend” is featured on SZA’s debut album, Ctrl and is nominated for the Best R&B Performance Grammy award.
The 60th annual Grammy Awards will be presented January 28th at New York’s Madison Square Garden and broadcast live on CBS.
