(NOTE LANGUAGE) Something we love to see, the brotherly love in hip-hop…and rappers Snoop Dogg and 50 Cent are displaying just that!
In a recently resurfaced November interview with the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast, Death Row Records’ new owner Snoop Dogg gave 50 Cent major props for his influence and impact on hip-hop culture.
Snoop said 50 “deserves his flowers,” and went on about the rapper’s ability to produce great television by way of Starz’ hit TV show, Power.
In Snoop-like fashion, the rapper deflected from his own legendary status and paid homage to the younger icon, saying, “50 is gonna be a legend in rap forever, his records, his music, his movies. The s*** he did, it just changed the whole game of New York and just run New York for a minute and put that New York spirit back in the game…He did that.”
Months later, 50 Cent shared the interview snippet on Instagram, while expressing gratitude to his fellow rap star.
“@snoopdogg that s*** you just said means way more then a award to me,” 50 said.
The duo recently shared the stage at the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show.
