Courtesy of Huxley WorldMegan Thee Stallion gave her followers a graphic look at her foot injuries after being wounded in a shooting last month.
On Wednesday, the “WAP” collaborator shared two now-deleted photos, captured by The Neighborhood Talk, of the incident where she was shot in her feet and received surgery.
Megan shared a photo of her bloody, stitched-up heel and another of her being cared for by a doctor. “I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot, I was walking away facing the back,” she captioned on Instagram. “Why would I lie about getting shot? Why are y’all so upset that I don’t want to be in the bed sad? Why y’all upset that I can walk?”
“I got my stitches out my feet like two weeks ago, and I was ready to go celebrate “WAP” going number one,” she continued. “I usually don’t address [the] internet [mess], but y’all people are so sick! God was really watching over me, and I’m healing so well! Sorry, I’m not as sad and miserable as a lot of y’all lol, but ima keep being Megan Thee Stallion.”
TMZ broke the news that Megan was in an SUV with rapper Tory Lanez, when she was shot in both her feet on July 12, after which Tory was arrested on felony weapons charges.
TMZ recently confirmed the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office were reviewing possible assault charges against Tory who allegedly shot Megan while she was exiting the vehicle.
Megan described the incident as “the worst experience of my life” during an emotional Instagram Live last month. “I didn’t put my hands on nobody,” she said. “I didn’t deserve to get shot.”
