Miguel is excited about his part in a newly added all-star musical collaboration at the Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival.

The singer will take the stage for the performance, called “PoWoW! A Live Superstar Mashup,” with Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler and Zigaboo Modeliste of the famed New Orleans funk group The Meters, as well as The Preservation Hall Jazz Band and saxophonist Kamasi Washington, among others. The three-day event takes place March 4 to 6 at Okeechobee, Florida’s Sunshine Grove.

“I’m bringing some friends to @okeechobeefest for a #PoWow,” Miguel tweeted. Some surprise guests also will join the PoWoW! performance, which is being produced by Paul Peck, who also directs the annual Bonnaroo SuperJam.

“The most exciting live mashups pair unexpected talents and take them deep into the unknown, and outside of their comfort zone. That’s where real magic will happen and that’s what we live for,” says Peck in a statement.

As previously reported, the festival also will include performances from Kendrick Lamar, Fetty Wap,FutureBig Boi from OutkastSkrillex and others.
