Monday Is Justin Timberlake Day in Memphis, TN

As Arkansas Online reports, JT brings his 20/20 Experience tour to Memphis, Tennessee on Monday, and that’s why the city’s mayor, AC Wharton, has designated it “Justin Timberlake Day.”  In a statement on Friday, Wharton’s office invited Memphians to celebrate their famous son by taking pictures of themselves wearing bow ties — a play on Justin’s hit “Suit & Tie” — and posting the pictures to social media with the hashtag #JTDay.  Business owners are being urged to post messages like “Memphis Loves JT” on their marquees.

The official proclamation will come at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Westin Memphis Beale Street Hotel.
