Ne-Yo is will headline the Apollo Theater’s 2015 Spring Gala, taking place next month.

According to Billboard, the crooner will showcase during the 10th annual benefit concert on June 8, which also will feature performances by Luke James, Nile Rodgers, recent The Voice contestant Kimberly Nichole and South African a cappella trio The Soil.

Proceeds from the Spring Gala will support the legendary Harlem, New York venue’s year-round artistic, educational and community programming. Last year’s benefit concert raised $2.3 million. Previous gala headliners have included Mary J. Blige, Patti LaBelle and Chaka Khan.

“Many people don’t realize that the Apollo is a nonprofit organization,” says Jonelle Procope, president/CEO of the Apollo Theater. “And we can only fully realize our mission with the support of our community.  The evening also affords us the opportunity to say thank you. In classic Apollo fashion, it’s always a ton of fun and showcases musical artists with connections to our legacy and our contemporary programs.”
